Virginia Barnes was a well-known Montevallo, Alabama Art Professor who lived next door to my Grandparents. My Grandmother told me Mrs. Barnes had a national reputation for the development of Silk Screen Processing, and that Mrs. Barnes exhibited her Art Works at the Louvre in France and throughout the world. I have read online that two of Vae Barnes' paintings hang in the Alabama State Capitol in Montgomery.
