This Cast Iron Summer Cover is used with a very fine hairline crack about 1 1/2" long , you really have to look for it but I want you to know its there. Overall this is a really nice Fireplace Summer Cover. The Ornate Fireplace Cover is 19 7/8" tall , 20 1/8" wide and is curved at the top 1 1/2".
