This Paint Palette was found in Hale County Alabama. It measures 11 1/4" in diameter by 1" thick and weighs 10.4 pounds.
These notched flat circular stones appear to have been used as paint palettes. The face is engraved with two stylized rattlesnakes facing each other in a kind of yin-yang pattern.
